It is a multicultural festival of great international prestige that was born from the collaboration between Tuscany and Portugal.

The countries that participate in this festival are those surrounding the Mediterranean, although today it expands along an itinerary that includes many cities and countries such as Brazil, Cape Verde, Croatia, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Romania and Spain.

It focuses on live music of popular and contemporary style, and workshops are held for the creation of original forms of artistic production.

It is held during the first fortnight of August on the beach of Tavernes, in the Plaça de les Palmeretes.
