Visit Cova del Bolomor and step onto the balcony of prehistory

Visiting Cova del Bolomor is much more than entering a cave; it means discovering one of the oldest homes of humanity in the western Mediterranean. Imagine standing in the same natural shelter that, more than 300,000 years ago, was home to prehistoric communities.

From its privileged position on the slope of the Bolomor ravine, this site was the perfect strategic point from which to overlook the whole valley.

Today, that same horizon is waiting to tell you the story of our origins in the Valencian region.

Our guided tours invite you on a sensory journey into the Palaeolithic. During the route you will see archaeological finds and Neanderthal stone tools, and you will stand before the same ground where humans learned to control fire more than 230,000 years ago.

It is a powerful connection to understand the moment when light and heat transformed our evolution, while looking at the panoramic views those human groups watched every day.

This combination of living archaeology and open landscape turns the visit into a different cultural experience, where history can be felt under your feet and seen on the horizon.
