The night of San Juan is celebrated on the night of 23 June, with the traditional burning of bonfires on the beaches. The festival begins with a “correfoc”, a cultural event that has been celebrated for many years now, in which groups of people, dressed as devils or not, parade through the streets juggling with fire, dancing and jumping amidst fireworks. Pyrotechnics are therefore very important in this festival.
