The Caçons a la Mar Choral Festival is held at the beginning of August in the Goleta lake park. Its purpose is to promote choral music and to consolidate itself in the cultural panorama of Tavernes, making the activities on the beach more varied and attractive.
The choirs participating in this festival are:
Coral Polifónica Alcoiana de Alcoy (director Alexandra Soler).
Coral Veu de la Safor from Gandía (conductor Salva García).
Coral Nova Creació de la Alcudia (conductor Enrique González).
Coral de Marinyén de Tavernes de la Valldligna (conductor Fran Lledó Grau).
Some of the pieces they perform are well known in their repertoire such as: L’estaca, D’un temps, D’un pais or Homenatge a Teresa, but they always create great expectation among the audience.
At the end, all the choirs perform together on stage the common song La Barraca.
Before this, there are also moments of gratitude and the presentation of souvenirs to all the choirs for their participation.
